The Chameleon Laser Engine is the solution to multi-laser delivery and control. Our manual and automated versions offer you degrees of control suitable to your imaging needs, speeds, and operational requirements.      The first model was developed as a system to deliver four laser lines to fluroescence microscopes using manual shutters and filters. It has proven to be a reliable and robust unit that can be fitted with almost any combination of laser lines.

We now offer a fully automated version, The Ultra Chameleon,  featuring an acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF).  The AOTF allows you to control the selection and optical power of the laser lines so that one or more wavelength can be delivered to your microscope or experimental apparatus under the control of your personal computer with millisecond switching times.

When you order you can specify a complete set of lasers of your own choosing, or, you can let us fit your existing lasers into the package - plus any additional lasers you may need.       Typical Microscopy users already have laser units supplied with their original Nikon or Zeiss microscopes. Often we can retrofit parts from those units into the Chameleon package to save the cost of new lasers.

The Chameleon occupies a small footprint and conveniently integrates all of your lasers into one neat package.       You can expand your capabilities to rival those of the newest systems for a very small fraction of the cost of a new microscopy system.
